 Agreement

As a Volunteer for the Tipton County Foundation Youth Philanthropy Council, I have a responsibility to ensure that the Council does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals. I believe in the purpose and the mission of the Foundation and Council to serve donors, award grants, and provide community leadership, and I will act responsibly and prudently as a representative. As part of my responsibilities as a volunteer:

  1. I will make a personally significant investment of time, talent, and treasure in the Youth Philanthropy Council, and encourage others to do the same.

  2. I will explain the Council’s work and values to all ages in the community, and obtain information for people that I cannot answer on my own.

  3. I will attend at least 75% of the meetings, and the events related to my role.

  4. I will stay informed about what is going on in the Council. I will ask questions and request information. I will participate in discussions on issues and concerns of people like me and others whom I care about.

  5. I will work in good faith with others as partners towards achievement of our goals, and maintain the confidentiality of personal information about which I may become aware.

  6. If I do not fulfill these commitments to the Council, I will expect a leader to call on me and discuss my responsibilities with me.
