Tipton
County Farmers' Market
The Tipton County Farmers' Market Association
has been designated "Market Manager" for
the local Farmers' Market. The Farmers' Market Association
is a collaborative effort of the Tipton County Chamber of
Commerce, Tipton County Extension Education Center, City of
Tipton, Tipton County Board of Commissioners, Tipton County
Foundation, and other interested citizens - all with the
goal of helping both "start-ups" and already established
vendors to increase their visibility and success in getting
their product into the hands of consumers.
As Market Manager, the Farmers' Market Association will be
able to serve as a single access point for both vendors and
consumers, provide collaborative marketing for all vendors,
apply for and receive grant money to be used in that
marketing, register the market with the Women, Infants, and
Children program in order to make vendors eligible to
receive vouchers, and safeguard the cohesion of message and
preservation of the local farmers' market integrity.
All interested vendors and/or patrons should
contact Jennifer Servies with the Tipton County Chamber of
Commerce at 765-675-7533 with questions and to register with
the market.
