About the Walk

Homeward Bound, a project of the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED), is a series of annual walks that take place in communities throughout the state during the Spring.  The goal of the walks is to raise funding for and awareness about affordable housing and homeless needs in Indiana.  Each walk site is governed by a local steering committee made up of dedicated community leaders.  

Since its inception in 2003, Homeward Bound has raised nearly $2.5 million for over 90 affordable housing and homeless service providers around the state, making it Indiana’s largest grassroots fundraiser with the ultimate goal of ending homelessness.

Donate to the Homeward Bound - Howard & Tipton Walk

To help Homeward Bound agencies in Howard and Tipton County in 2009 by sending a check make it payable to TCF and mail it to PO Box 412, Tipton, IN 46072. Be sure to write "Homeward Bound" on the memo line. You will receive an acknowledgement of your gift and its tax-deductibility.

We know many people prefer to use credit cards for donations. The best way to handle that is on the statewide Homeward Bound website. You can target your gift to the Howard-Tipton Walk, and even designate the agency you want to support. A particular team or walker can receive credit for your contribution via the website.
