Benefits to College Seniors For Their Final Semester
Richard and Mildred Harrison Memorial Scholarship
Mary Alice Nichols Memorial Scholarship
The Harrison Scholarship was established by the donors to help reduce the
loan burden incurred during four years of college.
The Nichols Scholarship was established by her family to assist a student
about to graduate as a Registered Nurse with a bachelors degree.
These scholarships are applied toward the balance of your student account for
the last semester of your college career. It may only be applied to outstanding
tuition, fees, or book costs.
Applicants must be enrolled for their final (bachelors degree) college semester(s).
Applications are
due by November 1 of the year preceding graduation, regardless of what month the
student will graduate. (December grads must have applied 13 months before
graduation.)
To qualify for the Harrison
scholarship, you must be a college senior who graduated from Tipton High School, and you must have a cumulative
GPA of at least 2.5 (4-pt. scale) as you earn your bachelors degree. For the
Nichols scholarship, you must have graduated from either Tipton or
Tri-Central High School, and be an RN as you earn your bachelors degree.

two Scholarships. Please provide the following information in your own word
processed document. Students will be considered for both scholarships, if
they meet the eligibility requirements. Return your printed document
to the
Tipton County Foundation, PO Box 412, 1020 W. Jefferson St., Tipton, IN 46072 by
