A Tool for Professional Advisors

Charitable Giving information is just a click away.

Your local community foundation is pleased to provide you with Planned Giving Answers Online (“PALS”), a convenient, easy to use and free resource.

As a professional advisor, you have a responsibility to know your client’s objectives; assess the tools available to meet those objectives; and help create a plan to meet the objectives using the appropriate methods. You may be surprised at how many of your clients include in their investment objectives finding a way to give back to society, memorialize a loved one, or simply “do good.”

  • How do you raise the issue of philanthropy with your clients?
  •  How do you expand the menu of services available to your clients that have charitable interests?
  •  How do you keep up with the changing vocabulary and rules related to charitable gifts?

Planned Giving Answers Online is available (with a password) on your local community foundation’s Web site.
