TCF is a volunteer-driven nonprofit public charity established in 1986.
With
your help, whether your resources are great or small, and whatever your
charitable intent…
- Your community foundation unites your gifts with those of many others,
to benefit the causes that matter to all.
- The value of your donations is increased by sensible investment.
- The good you want to do is permanent, because
your endowment gift is
never spent—only the annual earnings—currently a net 4%.
- Grants are made to local agencies and citizens’ groups who work to help
our neighbors.
- Scholarships are awarded to help young people pursue more education with
less debt.
- Leadership is convened, makes plans, and collaborates to improve the
quality of Tipton County life.
The Foundation’s Conference Center (1020 W. Jefferson St., on the Pioneer
campus west of Tipton) houses our offices, and provides a meeting place for
community organizations.
Thank You For Helping Us Do Well!
…Fulfilling Donors’ Wishes A gift to any fund at the Foundation can be made in memory of someone or in
honor of a special achievement —even a significant birthday.
The civic-spirited volunteers responsible for TCF’s Board leadership,
fundraising, investment decisions and grantmaking have begun a substantial
endowment that will never be spent, but always provide benefits– which can
increase over time with your help!
Special funds are set up to match special charitable interests, such as the
United Community Fund for human and social services, the Women’s Fund,
Agribusiness Endowment, Arts & Culture, Education, the Findling Legacy for
Children, Shoes for Kids, Medicine Chest prescription assistance, and others.
Contributions are tax-deductible under sections 501(c)(3), 509, and 170 of the
Internal Revenue Code.
…Connecting People Who Care With Causes That Matter
Many families and organizations have set up funds for operating charities,
scholarships, facilities, and events like the July 4th fireworks.
