Twentieth Anniversary

Throughout 2006 TCF celebrated twenty years since our founding with some special activities, where we were joined by so many members of the community.

The capstone anniversary event was a Homecoming Reunion dinner on November 11.

There we honored our donors and volunteers, remembered the scholars we have helped with higher education, and recognized the projects and organizations that have implemented grants to improve the quality of life thanks to the Foundation’s investment earnings. Dinner Info

Painting Indiana: The Changing Face of Agriculture is a collaborative project that documents Indiana life and land through a painting technique popularized by the French Impressionists known as open air painting, or “plein air painting.” The Changing Face of Agriculture is a traveling exhibit accompanied by compelling programs that reveal art and agriculture through new perspectives and to interest young people and adults in both the arts and agriculture. It engages audiences through interactive elements, which encourage thought about agriculture and art.

Golf Classic

The annual Golf Classic has been a useful, effective, and enjoyable activity to benefit the growth of the Tipton County Foundation during the past seventeen years. However, our Golf Classic has not been held since 2005.

The Golf Classic was an innovation when it began, but it has since been joined by many similar events. We know that the same group of civic-spirited business leaders is called upon to support each of them.
